I'm a massively introverted INFJ and a Human Design Generator with Sacral authority. My Sacred Money Archetypes are Nurturer, Accumulator & Alchemist. In a nutshell that all means I'm hugely focused on the happiness & wellbeing of others - I intuitively sense other people's passion & motivation and know when something's 'up'...it often doesn't take me long to find out why. I believe in magical transformation grounded in reality, and I'm prone to being over cautious...and a bit tight with money!!
I'm originally from Scotland and grew up in Dorset from age 13, eventually moving to Hampshire after meeting my husband. I've overcome being the 'new girl' in school twice...struggled to feel comfortable in my own skin thanks to facial hair & acne....I survived a massive life-altering break-up at 26 years old...(6 weeks before my wedding was due to take place...aargh!) I also discovered I can cure my own fibromyalgia in my 30's! |
I believe just about anything is possible...as long as we feel clear & confident about who we are & what we want...and we're ready to get out there and do something about it!
I love to spend my time helping others get out of their own self doubt & into positive action - the kind of action that makes dreams come true!

My story
- How I FINALLY gave myself permission to be successful!
I was desperate to quit my job & become and entrepreneur...yet no amount of business advice or guidance out there seemed to be able to help me overcome the list of things that was keeping me hiding at home!

Despite all of the different courses, webinars, articles, facebook group challenges, podcasts, blogs...etc that I'd invested in & studied...I just couldn't ever seem to get out of my own way.
I endlessly struggled to decide on basic details like who my ideal clients were, what product I wanted to sell, how to advertise, what to write about when creating content..the list goes on. Then once I'd eventually decided what I was going to offer...I got constantly stuck in procrastination and just couldn't ever seem to bring myself to do anything to promote it - I'd shy away from drawing attention to myself time & time again. It was PAINFUL and I got so exhausted with my perceived failings as an entrepreneur!! |

Fear of failure & success
The truth is, despite desperately wanting to be an entrepreneur, I just didn't really know or value myself enough to feel confident shouting out to the world that I had something to offer.
I was so worried about what everyone would think of me - I felt terrified of public failure and worried that someone would call me out as some kind of fraud! Who on earth was I to just suddenly decide that I was worthy of being a coach?!
Then I worried about actually succeeding...what if I had mega success & people thought I was 'too big for my boots?!
It was those feelings of fear and confusion that kept me stuck, going round in circles, unable to make decisions in my business or ever feel truly 'ready' to properly get on with it.
I was so worried about what everyone would think of me - I felt terrified of public failure and worried that someone would call me out as some kind of fraud! Who on earth was I to just suddenly decide that I was worthy of being a coach?!
Then I worried about actually succeeding...what if I had mega success & people thought I was 'too big for my boots?!

Stuck in the cycle of waiting...
It eventually dawned on me that I was STUCK because I was always waiting on something.... some kind of permission or sign that would allow me to call myself a coach or entrepreneur, or some new level of enoughness I had to reach ("my website isn't good enough", "I need another qualification", " I don't know enough about x, y & z...").
I would've waited forever, because looking back, there were actually lots of signs from the universe...and I was given permission by various esteemed people...AND I also already had a ton of enoughness from the knowledge, skills & experiences I had accumulated...but I chose to ignore or downplay it all time & time again!
I was so used to hiding myself away and 'dimming my light' I didn't know how to do anything else.

Continually seeking permission or something outside of yourself, is basically you saying (usually subconsciously) "I don't believe I'm good enough or worthy enough - I need someone or something to tell me that I am".
Whose permission are you waiting for? What sign would ever be enough to get you to truly take action? What time would ever be right?
Why is it not OK for you to let your natural light shine through...and let others see it?
The answer is that nothing outside of you will ever be enough to tip you into living the life you dream of if you don't believe enough in YOU to back yourself from the start.

So...what worked?
The clarity & confidence to allow myself to create my own success came to me in bits & pieces...
The solution for overcoming my 'stuckness' (if that is indeed a real word!) came to me, almost by accident, piece by piece as I desperately tried to get to the bottom of what on earth was WRONG with me - what was it about me that was making this entrepreneur thing so difficult...where other people seemed to just be able to get on with it!?!
I needed to STOP feeling like some kind of faulty, wrong or incomplete human. I had to STOP going against the grain of who I really am. I had to STOP thinking that standing out & being noticed for all the things that made me 'weird', 'different' & unique was a problem!

Creating the 'Idiots guide'!
After years of research I realised I was pretty much pulling together my own 'how to be successfully me' guide! A compilation of crucial details on who I am, where my skills lie and how to go about actually interacting with the world in a way most likely to bring me positive results. I'm a pretty practical person - I most often just want to know the very real & tangible steps I need to take to move forwards & actually get a decent outcome! When I'd invested in other people's guidance or advice, it so often didn't work for me. That's the thing - we're all so unique - what works for one person won't necessarily work for another. My own guide was ONLY about me & ONLY for me! |

Permission & validation...from me
In creating my very own 'manual', full of detail on my skills & what I'm here to actually do, it became clear that there are people out there in the world who not only need what I do, but will also happily pay for it (hello authenticity & integrity...goodbye to feeling like a sleazy saleswoman!).
It was also clear that what I do has real value, because there is no one else who has the same unique combination of energy, skills & experience that I have, it's my 'gift' and it's what I'm here for.
